Tales of The Macallan Volume II unfolds through the work of legendary Scottish composer Craig Armstrong. Beyond the realms of notes and casks, in this episode we uncover the shared values and inspirations that knit this extraordinary collaboration together.
Guided by the concept of legacy, Armstrong delved into the Scottish folk instruments and music heard in Speyside in brand founder Alexander Reid’s day. The resulting soundtrack is a beautiful melody that speaks of the past and sets out the path to the future.
We craft a narrative that presents the composer’s intimate creative ambiance in a studio in Scotland. From the first notes and ideas to directing the orchestra and composing the final piece, the journey is testament to Armstrong’s profound connection to The Macallan’s history.

A rich social media content plan
We developed a rich plan of content including: one 90” long film (16:9, 9:16, 4×5), one 30” cutdown (4×5, 9×16, 1×1), one 15” cutdown (4×5, 9×16), and one 6” cutdown (4×5, 9×16, 1×1), as well as three content capsules, one of 30” and two of 15” (4×5, 9×16, 1×1 for each length).
