This film gives us a glimpse into the making of this evocative track. The episode takes viewers on a journey with Sandé, diving into her creative process and exploring the inspiration behind the lyrics. Featuring intimate interviews, recording sessions and footage of The Macallan’s breathtaking landscapes, this episode showcases how the song Roots connects past and future. It is an invitation to experience The Macallan’s journey over two centuries, told through the universal language of music. We created a main film and three cutdowns of 30, 15 and 6 seconds.
