Andrew Davidson is a British artist and benchmark in the use of traditional engraving printing, which requires hours of traditional craft and is impossible to replicate using other methods.
His unique style is renowned for his creations of iconic pieces such as UK’s Royal Mail postage stamps and illustrations for the Harry Potter series book covers, among others.
In this episode, Andrew Davidson, the master crystal makers of Lalique, English firm Shepherds Bookbinders and IDM printers create “The Tales of The Macallan”, a masterwork volume of The Macallan stories starting in 1543 and including a limited edition bottle inside the book. It is a beautiful story of craftsmanship and legacy.
